I'm a professional wedding photographer based just outside Winchester, in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. I pride myself on really capturing the story of the day of your wedding - all the little details and special moments - along with those 'wow' images which will give you a collection of photographs to look back on with pleasure for many years to come.
I have had the pleasure of covering a wide variety of weddings and civil partnerships across southern England and beyond, from small and intimate venues to magnificent manor houses, from beautiful traditional church ceremonies to the more eclectic, DIY celebrations in barns and marquees. I love the variety of every wedding, from the bigger picture right down to the smallest detail, and thrive on the opportunity to capture it for the couple in a way that makes it entirely unique and personal to them.
My style is for a large part a documentary approach: rather than setting up every photograph and being a very obvious presence throughout the day I like to remain discreet and blend in with the occasion. It's by doing this that I am able to photograph you and your guests looking natural and relaxed, and create a powerful and accurate record of your wedding. I don't take this approach at the expense of all else however: I will still be there and ready to take control to capture any group photos, special time out images with just the two of you, and any important people or features of the day which you have asked me to look out for. It all adds up to a photography service which allows you to relax on the day and focus on sharing your celebrations with your friends and family.
I really like to get to know my clients during the build-up to the wedding, so that on the day itself I have a really good idea of their plans, what they like most from a photographic point of view, and how I can best ensure that the photos they receive are everything they could wish for, and more.
I cover locations across southern England and beyond, and have been fortunate to see some wonderful places this year with some really fantastic couples, from Norfolk to Cornwall, Pembrokeshire to Cambridgeshire. I'd like to invite you to have a look through various examples of my work in my wedding portfolios and in the featured weddings below, and to see what I've been up to recently you will find plenty of examples and wedding coverage in my blog. My galleries have been put together to offer a true refelction of my style and an introduction to the sorts of images I create for my clients, but as the weddings and ceremonies I cover are always changing I would invite you to look at some of my most recent wedding blogs to get a feel for exactly what I've been up to most recently. They are always changing, and are created to reflect the story-telling approach I take to my coverage. The links below will take you straight to some of my most recent weddings:
- Clandon Park wedding photography near Guildford in Surrey: a magnificent stately home in a country estate - Compton Acres wedding photography in Poole, Dorset: stuninng landscaped gardens and the famous Italian Villa - Avington Park wedding photography in Winchester: a wonderful, intimate ceremony with reception at the Hotel du Vin - Maunsel House civil partnership photography: an incredible, eccentric venue and a beautiful celebration (with added fun!)
