There's no such thing as bad weather, so they say - just inappropriate clothing. Happy days then when it turns out that your pre-wedding shoot couple are into the outdoors big time, and turn up dressed to handle pretty much anything nature could throw at them (and their dogs). As many of my past wedding couples will testify, I firmly believe that challenging weather can make for some fab photos, and as it turned out once we reached the spot Amelia & Aaron had suggested - by the old railway track in the woods outside Wickham - they were able to spend much of the shoot sheltered under a bridge while I worked the angles around them.
And just as a little cherry on the top, right at the end of the session we suddenly found ourselves bathed in sunshine and blue skies - a little reward for pressing on regardless. In all seriousness, the weather is of course one thing we can't control on a wedding day, but little shoots like this are a timely reminder (especially in April Shower season) that it can still be worked around, and indeed with. Now very much looking forward to a fantastic wedding on the south coast in a couple of weeks - stay tuned...
